Meet The Owner, Sam
For years, I watched the hospitality and hosting industry try to convince us that gathering was meant to be a high-stakes performance, and I felt the creeping anxiety that came with it. I wanted the perfect plates, the perfect wine, and the perfect music to make the night flawless.
After losing my corporate job and realizing that I couldn't go into debt to gather my people, I realized that what I had been told about hosting was mostly marketing, and as someone who comes from the world of marketing, I was honestly frustrated.
Marketing is, at its core, about selling. It is about connecting an audience to a product or person for the intent to boost their sales or popularity. But somewhere along the way it has become less about the authenticity of that connection, and more about the price tag behind it.
I wanted to build something that returned hospitality to an act of true intention; a creative studio that handles the overwhelming visual curation and spatial heavy lifting for you. The way I work, both with my bespoke clients and through my blueprints, is to make hosting and gathering an accessible luxury that anyone can achieve.
Every blueprint and candle we create carries that exact mission. It is my way of giving you the direction, the practical systems, and the permission to step away from a high-stress checklist and step into a curated evening of connection. I built this company to help you trust your abilities to build something beautiful, quiet the frantic daily rush, and bring the focus back to making your people feel deeply seen the moment they step into your space.
Welcome to Moon & Magnolia.
